PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Learning to write a character sketch can be a daunting experience for some students in the intermediate grades. But this is one of the first steps in learning to write a quotations analysis.

This outline gives the student a brainstorming activity and a detailed nine step process to complete a character sketch. There is also an example of a character named "Moose" in the short story Moose and the Sparrow by Hugh Garner that follows the numbered process coordinated with the outline.
There are also some examples for alternative words to show and reveal. Enjoy!
