Product Description

For this lesson, students are encouraged to read an existing Fairy Tale and identify character types, identify the conflict and determine the plot line. These tools are then used to develop their own fairy tale. I used the Scholastic version of Anderson’s Fairy Tales with my class. Each student had a copy and they were encouraged to choose a fairy tale and read it. The packet includes a rubric for ease of grading. I use this lesson as a writing lab over the course of about a month with lessons twice a week. Upon request, I can send you the file as a .pub (publisher) file.
