Product Description
These NO PREP materials make it easy to introduce, practice, review, and assess students' ability to identify the five parts of a Friendly Letter. This ready-to-use download includes three (3) practice activities and full-page answer key.

Introductory skill sheet introduces the five (5) parts of a Friendly Letter:
-- heading,
-- salutation,
-- body,
-- closing, and
-- signature.

The Friendly Letter template provides guided letter-writing practice. Finally, there's prompt-driven writing assessment to evaluate students' independent ability to write a correctly-formatted Friendly Letter.

Embedded within the materials are three concrete examples of correctly-formatted Friendly Letters. This repetitious, step-by-step approach to writing a Friendly Letter boosts student confidence and assures success.

Teachers can use each activity as a separate lesson or combine all the pages to create a mini-packet for independent review of concepts.
