Product Description
I created this Power Point presentation to introduce my 7th grade students to the basics of writing a response to literature paragraph; as such, I use it very early in the school year. All examples in the lesson, as well as the assignment at the end (a simple one paragraph response), are taken from the Ray Bradbury story, "Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed." The story is readily available in many anthologies and online. The skills developed in this lesson tie in well with Common Core Standards in ELA Literacy for literature and writing. -Rae Galeazzi
