Product Description

Teaching students to write a sentence that states the main idea of a nonfiction text can be a challenge, but not after teaching them the TACO method! This simple format will allow students to quickly and easily write the main idea of a text, a skill essential for summarizing, answering text-dependent questions, and taking high-stakes tests.

This resource contains two 8.5” X 11” printable posters, in both color and black and white. Additionally, it includes two high resolution jpegs, designed at 8.5" X 11" (300 dpi). You can print these on your home computer at 8.5" X 11" or have this printed into a poster at your local office supply store or print shop (the maximum recommended size is 18" X 24"), OR you can follow my directions for printing a poster the cheapskate way HERE.
