Product Description
Through this activity, students will watch a demonstration and write a scientific explanation based on their observations and knowledge of science and with the guidance and support of the teacher. Then students will complete an activity within a small group where they will record observations. After the activity is complete, students will independently write a scientific explanation based on their observations and knowledge of science. For struggling students, there is a template with prompts to guide their writing. A rubric for assessing student writing is included.
