In this activity students will complete an on-line activity that teaches them about the causes of erosion. They will be acting as a reporter and recording the information they learn in a reporter's notebook. Once the on-line activity is complete, students will participate in hands-on erosion activities (your choice of options based on supplies you have access to). Finally students will take the information they have learned to write a newspaper article and record a television interview.

1. Student activity sheets: including a reporter's notebook, a vocabulary activity, descriptions of the writing assignment and the TV interview assignment.
2. A handout formatted to look like a newspaper for students to write/type their final copy on.
3. A rubric for grading all activities as one assignment.
