This packet is part of my series: Writing about Mathematics – Algebra. This particular activity is about Writing Equations of Lines.
In this packet I have included two copies of the activity that could be used in two different ways.
For more advanced students, you can have them write their own paragraph using the given words. Perhaps you would like them to underline or highlight the words as they use them.
For other students, you may wish for them to cut out the words and glue them into the correct place into the sample paragraph. I have included the sample paragraph with the words filled in as an answer key. However, many answers are possible.
Completed paragraphs can be hung on bulletin boards or in the hallway.
