Product Description
This is a set of brief resources for 10 key writing elements, such as topic sentences, transition words, supporting details, conclusions, and indentation. The elements are based on the rubric rows in the Step Up to Writing rubrics. The sheets can be used as teaching tools, but I designed them for students to keep in their notebooks/folders/binders. That way, when a student gets stuck in his/her writing, he/she can turn to these tools to remind themselves what each piece is, as well as examples and non-examples.
