This scavenger hunt bundle has two activities. Each activity can be purchased separately. The first activity is writing inequalities and the second is graphing inequalities. Each scavenger hunt is based off the same 10 real-world situations. The students will be given a real-world situation (i.e. height requirements for a roller coaster) and either write or graph the inequality that represents the situation.
Scavenger hunts are a great change of pace from the norms of a typical math class. It allows the students to get up and out of their seats, work collaboratively, and have fun trying to decode the day's secret message. Each of my scavenger hunts come with an "Answer Decoder" sheet, Answer Key, and 10 problems to cut out and put up around your classroom, hallways, or even outside if the weather and school permits. Scavengers hunts typically take up between 15 to 30 minutes of class time.
