PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Due to climate change, extreme weather is making international news daily! Your upper level ESL and regular Academic English students will enjoy learning new weather collocations as they write and perform role plays about weather events! This lesson plan includes: a list of over 50 weather collocations--(collocations are words or sequences of words that are habitually used together naturally by native speakers), teaching tips, definitions and examples, student instructions, 6 weather situation cards to use as springboards for group discussion and writing; and a model role play with the weather collocations highlighted, to use to model the script writing process. Groups can then entertain the class with their own role plays about the weather! Enjoy!
