Students will match the equation to the word problem, then solve the equations.
There are 16 problems.
Students cut apart the equations and glue them to the correct problem. A separate sheet for working out the solutions is included.
These problems involve working with a few negative numbers and fractions.
I use the activity as a partner review in my 7th grade classes and as a quiz grade at the beginning of the year in my 8th grade classes. Equations involved are one-step and two-step.
