Product Description
This is a short writing piece to be used on June 13. It can also be used any day you need a quick writing piece!

On June 13, 1927, aviator Charles Lindbergh received a hero's welcome in New York City. On that day, a massive parade occurred in New York City to honor Lindbergh's successful flight across the Atlantic. This activity briefly describes Lindbergh and the parade. Students are then invited to construct a writing piece describing a parade for someone they admire.

Great for a bell-ringer or daily writing assignment!
