My classroom is filled with books. My goal is to get students interested enough to open a few of those books. These posters are my solution.
When my middle schoolers walk in on the first day of school, they clamor to figure out the quotes. Those who read the books know instantly, then wink as their peers squirm and guess. Later in the year, when students finally encounter these quotes in their independent reading books, they animatedly share with their classmates.
Plus, it helps to fill a room with color! My library is decorated with these posters printed on brightly colored card stock. The images print crisply on standard 8.5 by 11 card stock. (No fancy printer required.)
22 YA and Middle Grade books included in set: Wonder, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Fault in Our Stars, Looking for Alaska, A Wrinkle in Time, The Giver, Counting by 7s, Raven Boys, Thirteen Reasons Why, A Monster Calls, Stargirl, Outsiders, Hunger Games, Twilight, Chronicles of Narnia, The Book Thief, The Graveyard Book, The Maze Runner, Percy Jackson, Uglies, and I'll Give You the Sun.
[The Wonder poster is available as a free download in my store.]
*Any downloads greatly appreciated. I use any TeachersPayTeachers money to buy books for my classroom library. Thanks so much!*
