Thinking as a group and individual
Designed to follow the themes expressed by Ayn Rand's, Anthem, this poem includes two sets of a poem with line starters.
The first half asks students to think of themselves and their peers as one group, his or her responses express what they believe speaks for their peers.
The second half allows students to think more individually and express their opinion and thoughts.
The finished product should let students see if their individual thoughts are similar or different from what their peers would think.
