Product Description
Use this activity to have students write anonymous affirmations for each other. An affirmation is a statement which is true. When making a positive affirmation for a friend, the statement should be made in the present tense, be true and be personal. “You are” and “You can” statements are a good place to start. For example,
You are creative.
You are kind.
You are a good friend.
You can share.
You can make good choices.
You can be…
Positive affirmation increases confidence, and when a student reads them, they can be self-fulfilling. I have found this activity to be very meaningful for students of all ages.
