This resource contains 4 separate book reports, one per marking period. Each book report
has slightly different requirements and is for a different genre. ALL book reports come along with a full grading rubric. Everything is ready to print and give to students. These projects are perfect for 4-6th grade!

Marking Period 1 - Genre is Student's Choice. 4 project options are described in order to increase student choice and motivation.

Marking Period 2 - Genre is Mystery. This report is all oral, which is always a new and exciting challenge for students. It's also a great way to practice public speaking skills. I also included a list of popular mystery books and series.

Marking Period 3 - Genre is Historical Fiction. 4 project options are described in order to increase student choice and motivation. I also included a list of popular historical fiction books and series.

Marking Period 4 - Genre is Newbery Winners or Honor Books. Students need to create an ice cream cone. On each scoop they write or draw something different about their chosen book. The directions are described in detail and all parts are included. I also included a list of some Newbery Winners (1987-Present).
