This assessment book includes each of the Year One content descriptors and their matching judging standard outlined by SCSA for the WA curriculum. They have each been placed into a table you can use to keep track of your students progress for different formative assessments.
I will be using this in my own classroom this semester. In the date/assessment column I will write the name of the activity and the date. Then I will place students names in the box that they achieved. I can easily see their progress across the different activities and assessments. I am hoping this will also make reporting time easier for myself in Term 2, as it will be easy to see where students are on the A-E scale. It will also be used as evidence to support my decisions.
The idea for these table came from Ashleigh's Education Journey where she uses a similar rubric to assess her students.
