Year Round Cloze Paragraphs

I use these cloze paragraphs to help my students read more carefully and use correct vocabulary when reading. They help students think about what they are reading and use higher level thinking skills.

I have added a Google Slides presentation to help with distance learning. Directions for access to this is in the document. This is included in the price of the posters at no additional cost.

This packet includes a page of 4 paragraphs for each month of the year ~ January-December, though the packet begins with August and goes through July much like a school year. The key for each page is included right after that month's paragraphs. The students choose the correct word out of three choices to make the sentences complete.

I use these as a warm-up with my students once a week to help with critical thinking skills.
