This is an assessment of basic skills (letter, number, colors recognition and counting) done in a way you are able to track the students progress. I use flashcards to assess these basic skills. If the student is able to recognize the letter/number/color, circle it in the correct color. By having all the students on one page, you are able to glance at the document to see which students need interventions. Keep the document on your desk, in your plan book, or other easily accessible area so you can pull it out whenever you have a few minutes to do quick assessments.
