A great way to get your yearbook journalism students to remember the fundamentals of saving their work as they go, spell checking, good interviewing techniques, and photography tips.
I like to change the background of the posters per deadline and post them around the classroom where the computers are so that my students look up and are reminded of common sense yearbook things like getting a good quote and getting off their bottoms to get the information for their deadline rather than sitting at the computer and trying to come up with everything on their own!
This is a zip file containing 4 different backgrounds of the 10 posters (pink dots, blue circles, colorful polka dots, and colorful stripes backgrounds) AND it includes the original PowerPoint black and white set of posters that you could edit by adding any background that you'd like, to match the theme of your classroom from year to year, and you could edit any of the wording in the posters as well.
