I advise a large (400-page) chronological yearbook. I have five editors who are in charge of making sure that we cover all students, sports, clubs, and activities that happen -- on and off campus. It's a daunting task for any student, and it fosters many skills that they will use to succeed in any path they choose outside of high school.
This is a two-part form; the first part asks the editors to assess their own performance during the deadline. They address their own strengths, weaknesses and needs. The second portion of the form is for grading. This helps me assess their performance and to guide them in improving for the next deadline.
