Rainbow Write Sentences with Sight Words
This is the perfect little pack for students to practice sight words and fluency. In my classroom, a rainbow write sheet is included in our Daily 5 Word Work routine. Students complete the sheet. Then they make sight words with letter tiles, magnetic letters, etc.
Rainbow write sheets can easily be differentiated based on students’ needs:
1- Teacher writes a word in the rectangle. Then copy rainbow write sheets, so students can simply copy entire sentence.
2- Student draws a picture in the rectangle. Then student writes each sentence, including a new picture for each sentence.
3- Student writes a word in the rectangle. Student writes the same sentence four times.
4- Student writes a word in the rectangle. Student changes the word in the rectangle each time s/he writes a new sentence.
Simple sentence sheets are provided for the following sight words:
I a my the go to like
he come here this me for
where do you look one see what two up
down we want out who are they she good
and there give little that have said
