Yemen has so many problems. It's the poorest Arab country (not much oil). It has Islamic Fundamentalists that contend with Westernizers. It has those who support majority rule, and those who would put security concerns ahead of democracy. It has a Shi'a (Houthi) rebellion vying with the previous Sunni controlled government. On top of that, it has both ISIL and Al-Qaeda. The issues are deep and complex. Hence, it is an intellectual challenge for those high school students who are up to it. If they figure out a solution, thy should send it to the UN.
