Want a multipurpose activity that targets yes/no questions, vocabulary, categories, attributes, and describing? Then check out this fun packet of activities! This packet contains low prep and no prep activities. To play "Yes or Gnome" simply cut out the cards you want to use for play and place face down on the table. Students take turns selecting a card and answering the question. The student must follow directions on specialty cards (put one card back, put all of your cards back, take an extra turn). Whoever collects the most gnome cards at the end of the game, wins!
Yes or Gnome cards are divided into different groups for practice of a specific yes/no question. These include: basic yes/no, yes/no questions about colors, attributes, object parts, and object category.
There are also 3 types of worksheets, each with 6 pages for practice: Gnome Match, Gnome Stamp, and Gnome Cut 'N Paste.
These activities can also easily be used for practicing fluency strategies or for students working on "Yes" and "No" using an AAC device.
