Why is asking “Yes/No” necessary?
Answering Yes/no is a very important skill, especially for children with Autism spectrum. For many parents, it is an important way for them to find out what their children wants and needs. Once a child can answer yes/no questions, it becomes easier to get more information from them.
First, it is important to begin with concrete objects. These flash cards are carefully designed with selected pictures of the cards of common objects.
Once objects are identified, their features and functions need to be explained to the student This help the student to identify the object and differentiate it from other objects through its unique features and functions. These cards are designed to help the student who has prior understanding of the features and functions of an object.
