There are examples of each equation and I usually give a few additional scenarios verbally for the students to calculate as practice for each equation as we go through the slides.
There are 5 slides at the end which can be printed as a teacher guide.
Use this slideshow to introduce the math concepts and then bring it to life with my Applesauce Yields Lesson! Students work through the math by making a batch of applesauce in whatever quantity is convenient for you; small groups or as a whole class. The full lesson usually works for 2 90-minute class periods.
