Let's face it: formal progress notes are boring! Frankly, I don't think a lot of parents read them.
I wanted to create something fun that could be sent home that parents would *actually read* with that also incorporated "Yo puedo" ("I can" in Spanish) statements.
Students can fill out these postcards themselves so that they can take ownership of their speech goals. Students will know exactly what they are doing in speech class and they can feel proud to share it with their families!
-Color version with a boy
-Color version with a girl
-B&W version with a boy
-B&W version with a girl
-Sign to hang up in the speech room
***Also there are both Color/B&W and both Boy/Girl versions that say "Querido:_______" for the kids with families that don't have a Mom and Dad.***
The postcards can be sent home, but I made a sign so that you can post them in your speech room, too! I'm going to have all of my students complete them, I'm going to hang them up and because they are folded, their goals are hidden from view from others in the classroom. I'll send them home in a couple weeks!
Print double sided, on the short edge, then fold in half and voila!
