This unit introduces and reviews essential phrases to talk about yourself in Spanish. The third person is introduced, but not emphasized. Students will learn to say their name, their age, what they like doing and to talk about their feelings. Most questions are accompanied by videos or songs to demonstrate the dialogues and reinforce the language, as well as multiple opportunities to use them. They will also meet some children from around the world, each with a short narrative (good for interpretive reading). The presentation covers interpersonal and interpretive skills and reflects 20 years of classroom experience. Teacher's explanations and further suggestions for activities included! It also includes a worksheet with 2 levels. The unit is aligned to the new World Language Standards (included), at the novice low level.
