This classroom guidance lesson introduces students to basic calming yoga poses (or stretches) to implement when feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious! Lead students through 8 basic poses and then debrief about mind and body feelings. Students create a folding book to reference later when they want to practice yoga. Includes a yoga version and "stretching" version if you prefer to not use the term yoga.
