This is the individual “Your Unlucky Day” activity from my Centers for the Month of March
Pack. Your Unlucky Day is a version of the game Kaboom. Students choose a gold coin with a math problem (or sight word, or whatever you want!) written on it and answer the problem to keep the coin. If a student chooses an “Unlucky Day” coin or stick, he/she must place ALL of his/her coins back in the pot.
This activity can easily be adapted to work with a variety of grade levels, and there are so many ways this activity can be used: With your whole class, in small groups with a parent volunteer, or it could even be placed at an independent center or be used as an early finisher activity! Either way, your students (or kids!) are sure to have a blast with this hands-on game that they won’t even know they’re learning!
Included in this pack is:
*A table sign for the activity
*Recording sheets in color and black & white (you choose!)
*Teacher directions, a list of materials, and setup instructions for the game
