If “your and you’re awareness” is not a thing, it should be. This usage mistake is distracting, but unfortunately very common. Since older students understand the difference between the words, the goal is to make them more conscientious when using them. This bundle can be the key to permanently eliminating “your” and “you’re mistakes from student writing.
It includes the following:
-Four “Your” and “You’re” practice PowerPoints. These presentations are completely editable and visually appealing. You can view two slides from each PowerPoint in the preview file or view more information at the links below. I use one each quarter as a refresher course when this mistake creeps back into student writing.
-A PowerPoint that features ten internet memes that mock “your” and “you’re” mistakes. This legitimizes the lesson by showing students readers notice this type of error.
-A teaching tips document.
-A free mini-lesson I use before the PowerPoints. Its purpose is to makes students more “your” and “you’re” aware.
Each PowerPoint is sold separately in my store, but you can buy all of them here at a big savings to you. Please click the links below to read more about each presentation included in this bundle.
