This activity is just ONE-PAGE (front & back) and gives a great overview of what your students should take away from the bible story of Zechariah and Elizabeth. Your students will look up bible verses, summarize the story, research the biblical figures, and discuss the lessons that can be learned.
This project can be completed in a few different ways. You can provide your students with the information to fill out their brochures, or have them find the information through bible/internet research. If your students are inexperienced with Internet research, guide them through the process by projecting a search that you lead.
ORGANIZATION: If you are creating this foldable to include in an interactive notebook, pockets have been included. Allow students to draw on the pocket for further creativity. If you’re not using these in an interactive notebook, they keep nicely in a 6 x 9 bradded envelope. Add to the collection as you work through the topics.
PLAN YOUR LESSON: Use this brochure as a guide to build your lesson upon or as an accompanying piece. For the cover image, students should draw a scene from the bible story. For the bible character squares, have your students either draw an image or give details about the figure.
