This has over 100 images, mostly color photos but a few that are black and white drawings.
The "wise old owl" has long been a symbol for wisdom and education.
You could try gathering your own collection, but, believe me, it would take far more time than it would be worth, especially so considering that the price at which you can get them here is so reasonable.
You can enlarge or shrink the public domain images’ sizes, move them around, etc. Here they are presented in a small then larger size for extra convenience.
The images are handy for any classroom and any age or ability level but teachers of art and natural studies in science will likely regard them as being of special interest.
Teachers of Pre-K students up will find them handy for using as reward stickers, for classroom décor, etc.
Besides art and the sciences, owls are tie in with literature, especially mystery and gothic stories.
Many Native Americans have traditional tales, legends and sayings regarding owls, so there is also a social studies tie-in. Math teachers may use the images with statistics etc.
My store has many clip art products with other animals. In this one the Horned Owls, Barn Owls, Snowy Owls, etc all have a lot of beauty and mystery – so here they are for you and your students!
