“Zut” is especially suited for reviewing something like vocabulary.
The only advanced preparation is to make a list of 25 questions--that can be as simple as 25 vocab words.
Divide the class into 2 teams.
Team member chooses a number on the chart and the teacher asks the corresponding question from the list. If the student gets it right, he may decide to keep the points or give the points to the other team. Only after this decision has been made do you click the number to reveal the points earned or lost. (Obviously, there is a huge amount of chance involved in this game!). If they get “Zut”, the score goes back to 0. Keep score on the board or on a piece of paper.
For a variation, you can play so that the team gets the “absolute value” of their score at the end of the game….so a team with a score of -10 would actually win over a team that has a score of +6.
