Zap It Fun is a game built to challenge your child's indirect eye-hand coordination, increase their attention span and to prepare them for reading and math. Game play is modeled after the world famous "Space Invaders". Your child moves the character at the bottom of the screen and lines it up with the moving objects they want to zap. This way, game play is fun and increasingly challenging. In Zap It Fun, your child will try to zap (shoot) an item as it marches across and down the screen. The goal, zap them all before you run out of time or they march to the bottom of the screen and catch you!
Like all of our educational games, to keep your child challenged or to enhance certain basic skills, you can configure the game in a wide variety of ways depending on the level of your child's ability or on what skill you wish to encourage and build. You can configure the game to the level of learning you desire. You can select the items to be shot (numbers, letters, etc), you can change game play speed to match or challenge your child's ability, you can select different shooting styles (bullets, lazars, etc), the game play background can be changed in a wide variety of ways to challenge their ability to concentrate, and you can even change the encouragement voice (male or female) to better fit your child's needs.
Zap It Fun is built using Applied Behavioral Analysis theories of learning to help your child learn basic letters and numbers. Every time they zap an item, it disappears in a puff of smoke and they hear the correct pronunciation of that item, and they do this in an engaging and fun environment. And since the game can be changed as desired, out growing this game is reduced as your child learns their numbers and letters, the goal, to lead your child on their way toward reading. It is designed like all our educational games, to be fun and adaptable while they learn.
