This is an amazing race themed game for Zones of Regulation. It covers topics such as identifying zones, finding images that represent certain zones, acting out zones, watching videos of zones.
Set up: Print the clues you want to use. You can put the clues in an envelope or fold the clue cards in half and put any additional pieces for the task inside the folded paper
You can either hide the clues and use the “Go to the ___ to find the next clue” or give your students the next clue after they finish the first clue.
You can put the clues in any order you like. There is no particular order
If certain clues do not work for you, don’t use them—just use what works for you and your classroom!
Split students up into pairs or groups. Students go through each clue and present their answers to the teacher, once they are finished you present them with their next clue. – either the “Go to the ___ to find the next clue” or the actual next clue/activity
You can also give students clues in different orders so that students don’t copy each other’s answers. Once students make it through all the clues, they reach the finish line.
