Teacher Comments:

  • “My students loved this resource, it was engaging, fun and age appropriate! Awesome pre-learning for our excursion to Taronga Zoo, Sydney.”

  • “Kids loved it! We have used it in a classroom setting during our imaginary trip to the zoo and everyone, including the teacher, had so much fun. There are plenty of activities to choose from. Thank you for this wonderful resource!”

Having taught 9 different grades, I've gone on a variety of field trips or “outings”. Plus, as a mom and grandmother I’ve done my share of chaperoning too.

Why’s that important? I’ve “been there & done that” many times! You might say I’ve earned a “black belt” in the karate of field tripping.

I’ve used that experience to design this comprehensive zoo packet, which includes a variety of “before, during & after” your field trip activities:

checklists, forms, notes, tips, posters, name tags, worksheets, games, centers, writing prompts, graphing, Venn diagrams, countdown craft, field trip behavior contract, thank you notes and more!

It’s my hope that the packet is a huge time saver & “stress buster” for you.

I’ve done an elephant's ton of work, so that you can simply “print & go” and know that "I’ve got you covered”; with a nice assortment of things to do before and during the trip, as well as a huge variety of activities for when you return; with plenty for several days following.

Be sure and check the PREVIEW for a complete list of what’s included, with lots of samples, so you get a nice overview of what you’re getting.

I’m Diane from Teach With Me. I sincerely hope that my latest "labor of love" gives you peace of mind, and that you enjoy the activities as much as I did creating them.

More Teacher Comments:

  • “This was a great bundle for our trip to the zoo.”
  • “Perfect for a setting where you are doing a field trip, our closest zoo is over 500mi so we are using this as a pretend visit to the zoo. There is a ton of stuff in this and we will have fun using it!”

Here's wishing you a stress-free, relaxing and super-fun time, as you plan for, and go on an ed-venture to the zoo!

Great companions for this unit, are my “Polar Bear What Do You Hear?” packets.
