Looking for NO PREP eye catching writing crafts? Look no further.
This product is a selection of 10 fun craftivities (writing prompts and crafts) featuring zoo animals - frog, gorilla, monkey, polar bear, koala, lion, cheetah, tiger, panda, and rhino. These writing crafts are great for Literacy or Science lessons. They are excellent for informational report writing units or study of animals. They would also be great upon return from a school field trip to the zoo.
There are 2 planning pages for students to plan their writing (you can choose your preferred planning page – they differ in lines/level). The art/craft itself is very simple and NO PREP! Students complete 3 easy steps to make the craft (write, color, and cut). Instructional pictures are included for your students.
The writing pages have two types of lines (dotted or plain) to choose from. This activity is therefore suitable for students from Kindergarten through to Fourth Grade. It is great for literacy lessons, if you want a creative/art element and excellent for wall displays/bulletin boards. If your students are proficient writers, simply print extra writing pages. Students can glue as many as they want underneath the writing pages if they would like to write more. Each animal also comes in color and black and white. The black and white is for students to color. The colored animals can be used though if you wish (if you want to make an example or don't want students to color etc).
