This is a great packet if you are teaching about zoo animals. Countdown to the Zoo field trip number chain– You can make a class chain or students can make one to take home and count down to their field trip.
Addition and Subtraction Story Problems– There are 6 addition and 6 subtraction story problems about zoo animals.
Writing– Writing prompts include most favorite and least favorite zoo animals. Also, If I ran the zoo prompt to complete after reading the Dr. Seuss book titled “If I ran the zoo”
Animal Report– This is a fun way to get kids learning about animals at the zoo. The first page is a circle map. Two different report pages to meet the needs of all your kids. This is great with nonfiction books about only one animal in each book. You can pair students up if you don't have enough books for each student.
Zoo Animal Beginning and Ending sounds– Students write in the beginning and ending sound of the animal. There are two pages of this and answer keys are included.
Zoo Animal Equations– You can copy these and put them up around the room and make this a write the room center. Students use the pictures on the cards to write the equations represented. Answer keys are included in this also.
