★ 42 animals to choose from!
★ Full color and black and white to color.
★ Because each zoo is so different, I have not numbered the pages in this set of readers. (I was unable to make it editable because of copyright restrictions concerning the use of the various clip art.)
★ There are 42 animals (4 per sheet), and you can use just those pages that are in your local zoo.
★ The more difficult version can be used for more advanced students OR for teaching purposes.
★ The cover and the last page are on the first set of pages.
★ I suggest cutting up the pages and gluing them together on another sheet so that you can make copies of just the animals you need.
★ If your students have seen many animals at the zoo, I would suggest making enough copies of the appropriate pages for your students and slicing them on the paper cutter. Then put each stack of the same page in separate containers. Ask students to pick the animals they would like to include in their individual booklets. Once they have chosen their pages, the booklets can be stapled.
★ Animals included: elephant, giraffe, zebra, gorilla, rhinoceros, tiger, bear, monkey, lion, leopard, orangutan, ostrich, kangaroo, polar bear, camel, penguin, hyena, panda bear, llama, flamingo, hippopotamus, otter, parrot, toucan, alligator, eagle, sloth, fox, wolf, koala, gazelle, meerkat, wart hog, lemur, vulture, kookaburra, lynx, jaguar, goat, snake, lizard, and porcupine.
