This is an informational research report for zoo animals. Page 1 is the cover page (title page) - students will put what animal they are researching, draw a picture, and write their name. Page 2 is the table of contents (appearance, habitat, diet, fun facts, all about). Page 3 is for the appearance - students will cut and glue a picture of their animal, draw and label a diagram, list the height/size, weight, and color of the animal, & they will check if they have skin, fur, or feathers. Page 4 is the habitat - students will draw a picture and label what is in the animal habitat & they will color the map to show where the animal lives. Page 5 is the diet - students will check if they are an omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore & they will draw a picture of what they animal eats on the plate. Page 6 is Did you Know? Fun Facts - students will find 3 things to draw and write about the animal that is something new that they learned about their animal. Page 6 is All About the animal they chose - students will write what they learned about their animal.
