b and d reversal techniques! Do you have students who reverse b and d? Do you use the common technique of making a "b" and a "d" with hands and using the cognitive cue of "b-e-d"? This kit will help cue your students to use this technique.

Printable poster for classroom use

Desktop cue cards - cut out and tape to desks

Pencil toppers - cut out and tape to the top of pencils with a strip of tape

Playdoh mat activity

"b" and "d" poem to go with the activity

Scribble sheet practice - print out, scribble over the bottom portion with crayons til heavy with wax (so that students cannot see their writing). Call out the b and d words (teacher can even spell the words). Students should practice writing the words as fast and as large as they can. Instructor will observe for "think pauses", or reversed letters. Keep practicing til the student can write words fast, with no reversals. Fun!
