Product Description
I used this bulletin board in my first grade classroom- it was loved by all. What kid doesn’t think that losing a tooth isn’t a big deal? They want to be recognized for that! And…it’s an “achievement” that eventually happens to all of them.

This type of bulletin board comes in handy for teachers. You won’t have to take it down; it must stay up all year to give everyone a fair chance to get their tooth into Count Tooth’s castle!

Those who don’t lose their teeth during the school year can be given a bunch of blank teeth and a paper strip to glue the teeth onto over the summer. Also, the personalized paper strips that have had teeth already glued on over the course of the school year can be given to the matching student to take home as a memento at the end of the school year.

Included are 2 stand alone castles,a 3-D castle, castle parts, a vampire, flying bats, 100 teeth, title on castle banner, castle flags and 2 different borders to choose from. This bulletin board can go with any classroom decor.

The teeth can be cut out on their outlines, in the shape of teeth, and glued directly on the castle. OR they can be cut out on the straight lines framing them, forming a box. You can even start a “strip” for each student to glue a tooth onto when needed and attach their strip to the castle. I have a page of pre-made strips that are the perfect size for the teeth….use these as guides to make many more out of construction paper if you plan on displaying the teeth this way. (saves on printing out a lot of strips).

There’s no need to draw columns or make a grid on the castle with the students’ names at the beginning of the column or row. To save you time, all you have to do is write the student’s name directly on the tooth (along with a little more info as shown in the sample). Start a row or column for that child with their first displayed paper tooth.
