Groups: Split the class into groups of three by counting them off. Have each group arrange their desk so they are facing each other. Explain to the students that their desks are now a station. Hand each student a “Barrier methods” packet. Tell the students that at each station there will be a barrier method example placed in front of them and a packet with information about the contraceptive. In their “barrier methods” packet, they should be filling in the answers in the correct spot of the contraceptive that is in front of them. Once the class understands the activity, place one example of each method, provided by Mrs. Ellison, at each station. Allow each group about 6 minutes to fill in their packet before having them switch to a different station. Remind the students to take accurate notes on each method so they can use this packet to study with.
