PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a test review Powerpoint presentation that I created for Topic 7 from the enVision curriculum, grade 1. It covers review of skip counting by 2's, 5's and 10's, using a hundred chart to count, and noticing patterns when skip counting.

HOW TO PLAY: I have my class play by table groups with one white board, marker and eraser to share per table group.

Once you open the Powerpoint presentation and hit "View Slideshow", you have to click through the introduction to get the full table of contents to pop up (including music!). You can get to individual slides by clicking on whichever category and points are listed (Addition for 2, Word Problems for 4, etc). Once you click on the link, the slide with the question will appear. You can click on THAT slide to show the answer. To get back to the main screen, click on the Jeopardy Man in the bottom corner.

Before I get started with the kiddos, I explain the rules: I choose the first category (for example, "Addition for 2"), and from then on whichever table group can both answer the question correctly on their white board AND explain it verbally before any other group not only wins the points from that category (for example, if Red table group got the answer to Addition for 2 correct, they get 2 points) but gets to choose the next category.

This is a great game to play if you only have 20 minutes or so to review, OR, time permitting, you can play until all of the categories and points are answered. Whoever has the most points by the end of the game wins!

FONTS: I would make sure that, when you download this file, CHECK THE FORMATTING!! I created this file on my Mac and have played it on my work PC just fine, but always double check just in case. I used Hello Fonts, specifically Hello Firstie and Hello Architect (which you can find here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Hello-Fonts-Personal-Non-Commercial-Use-301730), so they should pop up if you download and install them on your computer. They’re free for personal use and SUPER cute! If you choose not to though, you might need to resize some text boxes and adjust as needed :)

As it is an editable PPT file, you are more than welcome to tailor it to your class' needs, change the questions, etc. That being said, if you decide to make and sell your own Jeopardy games for other curriculums/units, PLEASE give credit where credit is due!
