Students get plenty of practice comparing equivalent fractions with this activity. There are 20 equivalent fractions cards. (There are 16 of the cards included in the thumb-nail pictures), and a detailed set of directions. Students must "concentrate" as they take turns, paying close attention to each turn, not just their own, in order to match up the equivalent concentration cards. The winner is the student who has the most cards at the end of the game. This game can be played with partner sets, or with groups.
