Look at the thumbnails - all stories are there.
I have 4 beginning French stories in one packet. I had put them on TPT individually ($4.00 per story) but am bundling them to make this more cost effective.
Briefly, I created this to help with conversation, pronunciation, distinguishing between il/elle/je.
I drew the pictures, and wanted the older people to be more real.
The stories also introduce/review age, nationality, ownership, birthday, and name
I made this ultra simple. The pages are color coded. But, you can copy them in BW, because the shading is slightly different between the il/elle.
Briefly, I presented each picture concentrating ONLY on the "je" form first.
The students repeated the sentences. They practiced the sentences. Within a few days I added the next story, until all four were presented.
I then repeated the whole process with the "il/elle" forms
The students were assessed on 1 of the 4 stories.
bottom line: I just finished the stories in both forms, and the students were so confident, they wanted to describe themselves.
I simply wrote:
nom, nationalité, ville animal, anniversaire, on the board, presented myself, and then they practiced. This was a surprise bonus to the activity. Hope you enjoy them.
p.s. I went over this with a find tooth comb, and hope there are no mistakes. Thanks.
