Overview: In this game for three or four players, children take turns picking groups of Base Ten Blocks and calling out the numbers they represent. Children cover the called numbers that appear on their gameboards in an effort to be the first to cover three numbers in a row.
Objective: Children will develop an understanding of place value while identifying a collection of Base Ten Blocks along with the number form they represent.
What you will need: Base Ten Blocks, 1 set per group, and chips or counters, 6 per child.
