Empower your students to take ownership of solving conflicts among peers by using these handy iMessage prompt cards. Using “I” messages (i.e., I don’t like it when you...) is a technique that helps children communicate their feelings and perceptions with others.
It is important that children address and discuss their feelings and conflicts with classmates, yet some have not mastered the ability to do it independently. Help your students communicate their problems with classmates and work towards solutions by having them use the iMessage prompt cards. Each card includes prompts that help students share and discuss the problem, as well as acknowledge and respond to the conflict.
When a conflict arises, simply instruct students to grab an iMessage prompt card and this will help initiate the necessary conversation. This is the perfect tool to effectively facilitate healthy conversations regarding conflicts in the school and classroom, thus producing a kind and caring environment.
